2. Create Mock-ups & Templates

When your template needs have been identified, you're ready to design mockups. If you have several templates with minor differences, you may decide not to do mockups of each one, but rather to work from one mockup and modify it for each of your variations after the template is complete.

*NOTE: WebOnTheFly has a safety feature to prevent visible problems if a template is inadvertently deleted or renamed. Anytime a page is loaded and its template can't be found, WebOnTheFly will attempt to display the page using a template named Default.cfm.

For this reason, you should create a template called Default.cfm that embodies the general look of the site while displaying main content elements that are essential to each page, such as the headline, detail and navigation.
