Case Study: FindWhistler.com

Whistler, British Columbia is a premier ski destination, and FindWhistler.com is the premier portal for this community. The site boasts an excellent directory to businesses in Whistler and a number of articles to let visitors know what to expect from their stay.

The business directory is the foundation of the FindWhistler business model, using WebOnTheFly to allow business owners to maintain their own listing pages. Site owners at FindtheWorld Interactive were even able to set up a tiered pricing structure, offering "premier" business listings with additional pages and an event calendar. We're currently working with FindtheWorld to create an advanced, site-wide calendar that allows visitors to filter all these business-entered events by category.

And, of course, FindWhistler makes great use of WebOnTheFly's powerful site search engine. It separates company listings from articles and other pages, weights and ranks the results, and provides excellent descriptions.
